                                                 TV is the enemy

                             I strongly agree with Kaul that T.V is very bad. I personally feel that T.V teaches are society’s children the wronge message about sex and also encourages young teens to start having sex early. Watching T.V also takes away time that could be better spent with family instead of sitting around being lazy eating chips and gaining wait.

                              Movies on T.V offer poor knowledge about sex.

Sex should not be misleading and dirty, under age sex is a very serious problem that we are facing today and television isn’t helping much at all. I have a 12 year old daughter, a 14 year old son and a seven year old son which I love very much. I wish I could be right by there side at all times, but it’s just not possible. Kids who stay home alone for what ever reason will tend to watch television because they’re not to be outside or go any were, and it’s kind of unachievable to know what type of program he or she could be watching, for instance One day I was coming home from work and my son was home alone when I walked in on him watching pornagraghy. I was shocked I couldn’t believe my son could have such access to something so dirty and impure, how could my good son that never gets in trouble order this type of movie. Well let me just tell you this had not been the only time he had done this, and I only found out about it because my monthly cable bill came in and it was 70.00 dollars more than it usually is with a long list of movies from playboy the spice channel, if it had an xx in front of it, I knew what that meant. This is not something a mother is proud to witness her child do, of course I punished him and made him pay me back every single dollar I had to pay. But my son now has this filth in his head and I will be in fear that he will go and try to have sex and experience what he has seen on TV. But if we didn’t have television we wouldn’t have to worry. I also worry about my daughter she is so young and there are so many movies that advertise teen sex and pregnancy. I don’t want her to get the wrong message about sex either. You see I could tell her all the right information about sex and love, and when she is ready, but one corrupt movie could interpret everything I have taught her in a whole ugly dirty way. She may think I am the wrong one or that I don’t know what I am talking about.

Society has become over wait and lazy by just sitting at home watching television for hours at a time getting up during commercial’s only to grab a bite to eat studies show that people who watch television tend to eat a lot more it’s weird but true.every time I sit in front of the television I always eat a lot. If people got out of their homes to exercise as many times as they watch television. I think we would have a healthier more active society. I also find myself not listening to what my kids are trying to tell me when I am watching a very good movie, and that it not a good thing because that tells them that we don’t listen so why should they. Instead I should interact with my children, take them to the park and let them release all their energy. Family is the most important thing in this world we need to tune out the tube and tune into family instead. Life is to short we shouldn’t take it for granted that are family members will be there always sometimes tragedy’s happen and a life is cut short, that’s when you think I should have spent more time with that person instead of watching television all the time.

It’s plain to see in my eyes that television is the enemy, it teaches are children how to become sexually active at a young age, it robes us from the healthy lifestyle we could all have and it takes away the family values we all so badly need. If we didn’t have television life would be so much more simple.
